Handle and use of a Shotgun

This unit standard teaches learners to safely handle, operate, and maintain a shotgun. It covers loading, unloading, clearing malfunctions, and improving shooting accuracy. Learners also gain knowledge of shotgun components, safety procedures, and legal responsibilities under the Firearms Control Act (Act 60 of 2000). By the end, they will confidently and responsibly handle a shotgun in different scenarios.
