Acclaimed For:
Ballistic comparisons examine bullets and cartridge cases. This method determines if they share a common source. It does so by matching unique marks from the gun.
Bloodstain pattern analysis is a branch of forensic science. It examines bloodstains at crime scenes. Ballistic experts analyze the size, pattern, distribution, and properties of these stains. They can deduce details about the incident. This includes the angle of impact, the positions of the victim and attacker, and the type of weapon used.
Crime Scene reconstruction is finding out what happened in a shooting. It looks at bullet paths, evidence, and what people saw.
Firearms and ballistics experts examine guns and bullets in firearm tests. They aim to identify their use and users and match them with evidence.
